New Forwarding Rule:

Creating new forwarding rules can be extremely useful if you wish to forward traffic from your Rented IP(s) to a specific backend endpoint, or endpoints.

Prerequisites

  • Minimum x1 ASN-less IP ()

  • Web Router Availability - This is only required if you've previously requested your ASN-less IP to be routed toward a dedicated router, which is an additional cost, and completely optional in most cases.

Our forwarding rules don't require you to have access to the backend-endpoint, unlike GRE, or other tunnelling protocols (if you wish to create your own tunnel, please contact us and we can get you setup) .

Creating a Forward-All Rule

Creating a Forward-All rule on your IP Address can provide immense possibilities, such as the first step to load balancing, or in creating a secure gateway for a private network ().

Step 1: Navigate to the after logging into your VPNaaS.org account.

Step 2: Click Manage Network on the specific IP Address you wish to create this rule for.

Step 3: Click Add Rule once managing your chosen IP Address.

Step 4: Select Create FORWARD-ALL Rule in order to initiate the creation of a new Forward-All Rule.

You should now see the following pop up:

Rule Label: This is the name of the rule you're creating, this is simply for organizational purposes, and won't affect the actual rule, or its mechanics.

Forward to IPv4: This is the target you wish for all traffic to be sent to (ICMP, TCP, and UDP).

Additional documentation for other types of Rules will be created very soon.
